Douglas County is full of great towns and neighborhoods.  No matter what type of community you are looking for you can find it in this county!  We couldn't place all the communities on this map but it should give you a pretty good idea of where everything is.  Castle Rock is a booming community with an explosion of shopping and conveniences.  This community has a small town feeling with lots of community events and things to do.  The commute is very fast to the Tech Center, now that the interstate is 6 lanes. Highlands Ranch is one of this Country's largest Planned Communities.  Shopping, gas stations and the Community Centers have been planned and placed in a specific fashion to insure convenience and traffic control.  This community's Home Owners Association fee allows the residence to use the Community Recreation Centers and their pools.  Parker has every type of residence you could desire with a small town feeling as well.  In Parker a person could live in a sub-division of any price range or could move out into horse property and acreage.  Shopping and other conveniences have been moving into Parker to make life a little easier.  This may be the town for you if you like a little peace and quiet.
