No matter what your interest Douglas County offers it all!  The local recreation centers provide an array of activities for everyone in the family.  There are multiple parks and plenty of open space.   Even your dogs will love living here because there are great parks made just for them.

Keep in mind that Colorado enjoys more that 255 days of sunshine in a year therefore, many of the Summer activities are available for you all year long.

Skiing
On average the ski season runs from around Thanksgiving to mid April. Appoximately an hour and a half up I-70 is Breckenridge and Keystone.  Just a few minutes more is Copper Mountain.  There is always Winter Park and Mary jane towards Frasier, CO.  What ever you do DO NOT miss a Steamboat Springs experience for some of the best skiing in the world.  There are a multitude of ski resorts in Colorado be sure to check out or links to find the best one for you and your family!
